Skagway, Alaska.  I would have liked to have investigated a little more.  My feet kept giving out on me walking.  We took a train ride up to White Pass Summit instead.  We did a bit of shopping and looking around.
These were just some pretty little flowers in a planter in front of one of the shops.  I don't know what they are but they were sweet looking.
One of my favorite pictures.  He was sitting on a small iceberg when we were first entering Glacier Bay.

I made a really heart ripping decision today and that is to sell Sage.  She is just too much horse for me.  I have to keep telling myself that I am 75 years old and need a smaller, quieter horse to keep riding.  We have Raven and she will be good for me.  My heart is breaking though.  She loves me and I love her.  I am praying for someone to come and love her like I do.  I will put her on Dream Horse in a few days.  Every time I think about it I cry.  Its a dream dying for me.

Our very pretty daughter Nikki.  She is lovely.  And so sweet to take care of her auntie during our cruise.  She didn't need to take care of me but she would have.
My sister and I sitting on a seat just outside of the Internet cafe' aboard the ship.  We did not use it.  At 75 cents a minute it would be pretty spendy.  I did not see anyone use it.  We had been shopping though.  Stuff was more reasonable than I thought it would be - tax an duty free.  I bought myself a couple sweatshirts.  One heavy and one  quite light weight.

I had a little go round with Sage today.  The horses came up to drink, she began picking  on Rusty and would not let her to the water.  She was really nasty.  I was watering down the pigs and I yelled at her and told her I would squirt her if she did not quit, so I did.  She did not like it at all but Rusty got her drink.

My foot is still all black and blue where the naughty mule baby got me.  The swelling is about gone.   The little stinker.

Tomorrow is our Mustang Club meeting.  I will be glad to see them all.

Blessings,

Lea

The ocean from our little balcony on the cruise ship Norwegian Jewel.  It really was a jewel.  I had more pictures to add this evening but they would not load.  We had a wonderful time.  They treat you really REALLY well.  We had a nice room, small but not as small as some of the others.  The food was great,  I was afraid I had gained 20 pounds but it was really only 1.

I was glad to be home and to my own bed.  I have not caught Sage yet.  Just too hot.  It was 102 when we got home Sunday, 97 yesterday and 98 today.  I mostly stayed in my cool house.  Only when I had to deliver eggs and then it was in my cool car.

Last night we changed the halter on Chico.  He stomped on the arch of my right foot during the battle.  Bob also trimmed his feet.  They needed it bad.  He wasn't so good then either.  We got it though.  I will try to get some more pictures of him soon.  My cameras are full of cruise pictures.

You may get bored hearing about the cruise but it is bubbling over.  We saw Orca Whales and Humpback Whales, seals, eagles and three large glaciers.  I need to look up what makes up a glacier as opposed to just snow in the valleys.  I will try to get pictures of Sawyer glacier which is the one the ends at the water.  There were a lot of small icebergs floating.  It was cold that day and the wind blew hard.

We started out from Seattle and our first stop was Ketchican.  We had a good day shopping and looking around.  We took an excursion and went through a rain forest trail.  they said we would see bears but we only saw bear poop, bear foot prints and trails through the grass but no bears.  Lots of eagles though and they are so beautiful and regal.

So anyway, I will get back to the horses soon.  I am glad to be home.

Blessings,

Lea

Hurray, I am back

Mr. Chico was taking a nap.  He had to look up see what I was doing though.  We have had to let his halter out twice he is growing so fast.
Our pasture of mostly mustangs under their morning tree.  If my lense was just a little stronger it would have been best.  Sage is enjoying herself out there.  She will be there until I get home from the cruise.  Then back to work for you missy.

I finally got pictures to load but if the will print onto the blog, I will know I accomplished something.

Bob's brother is not doing so well so we will be going to see him tomorrow before he goes to surgery on Monday.  he is very worried and stressed.

Blessings to you all.
