Pictures finally

The Spokane River is flooding. This is at the Seven Mile Bridge.
The other side of the bridge.

See the yellow ball of fluff. I think maybe the river flooded her nest so she only got one this year.

Downtown under the Monroe Street Bridge.

We were at a little park. The guy wanted us to leave them alone.

Aren't they so pretty.

That is the Maple Street Bridge looking down the river.

Me. Our hair was almost as wet as if we had been in the shower from the mist.Katie

Katie leaned over and took this of the boiling water. It made me dizzy.

Water over the damn.

My sweet Katie.

Don't know why I could not get pictures for 2 or 3 days but they loaded fine this evening.

The weather has been so nasty I have done nothing with my horse. I don't know what the prediction is for tomorrow. The sun is shining right now but I fed so don't want to go out and try to ride her now. It would be asking for trouble.

O is for open minded about some things, not so much others.

Blessings

  2. What a beautiful bunch of pictures! Looks like you had a very nice day that day.

I know what you mean about the weather. Yuck! Hope it clears up soon. Our forecast doesn't look too good but I think Spokane's is a little better, maybe.

  3. Wow, great pictures, Lea. One never knows the why behind one day's ability to do something (loading pictures) to the next day, when they do load. I would be guessing it was the website, not your computer. They can have glitches; or too many people all trying to do the same thing at the same time and you got "jammed up" going on.

  5. Looks like a nice day. Spokane is a beautiful town isn't it? It's been a long time since I've been there. Been catching up on my reading here, you have some great pics...love your dafodils!! Gorgeous!! I agree about the weather - we've been dry for the most part last couple of weeks, but today is wet, cold and windy. Sure am anxious for some warm (not hot) days. I want to get my garden planted. Eagle had an abscess in a rear foot and we've been soaking and bandaging his foot daily. Then he graduated to the med boot. What a good boy!! He stands in the tub better than any of our other horses. He knows we're trying to help him. He's as good as new now. I think this doctoring was a blessing because we've all learned to trust each other more. :) I'm so happy!!! Love you Lea, take care!!
