Silent Night, Holy Night
All is calm all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mile
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent Night, Holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia
Christ the Saviour is born
Christ the Saviour is born.
Silent Night, Holy Night
Son of God, loves pure light
Radiant beams from they Holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
This day saddens me beyond what I can express. Having lost 2 children, neither by violent means, my heart of breaking for the parents of those 20 children that were shot down in a senseless act of violence and rage. Why? Who knows. Crazy, of course, a sane thinking person would not do such a thing, but I daresay he probably knew right from wrong. WRONG. In this day of craziness all over the place, love your family, hug them, don't count on tomorrow.
I am not writing about trivial things today, my heart is too heavy.
Love you all my friends, even if I have never met you in person. Consider yourself hugged.
Bless you each and every one.
My heart is grieving for the senseless tragedy too Lea. I can't even imagine such overwhelming sadness and grief. Such evil in this world, and it's getting worse everyday. My prayer is that God will be with us, as individuals and as a nation. And especially those families right now. Love you too my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou said what everyone is thinking also, Lea. Whether this person knew right from wrong didn't matter at the time he made that horrible decision. Only he could 'justify' his doing it and each time its happened we have no understanding of it. Hugs and love to you and Bob.
ReplyDeleteI still cry every time I think about it.
