Justin is Home

Justin came home this evening.  He is fine and dandy after some scary times yesterday.  He is nursing great and that is a relief for Katie.  Don't know if she thought she could.  Any way he is eating good and will be chubby before long.

Rain and wind kept me from the horses today.  So instead I cleaned house.  Did some cleaning in the "craft and storage" room.  I want to be able to put my sewing machine in there and sew and stuff.

Worked a little on my quilting today but not as much as I would have liked.  For one thing I washed all the living room windows and the woodwork around them.  I was horrified when I realized how dirty they were.  There will soon be doggy nose prints on them again.

The weather forecast was for some snow in the rain.  That is a dirty word.  Last week it was 70.  I am not ready.

Blessings

  1. Cute little boy! Being next door is gonna be tempting ya everyday..:)
You got that right about the big weather change! Hope the snow holds off til later. Its a huge jump from 70's to WINTER'S HERE!
I know exactly what you mean about nose prints just after washing windows. Our Sam (black lab) and Kitty Girl compete for that! LOL
I don't mind snow itself, so much as the mess it can create. I try to concentrate on the beauty aspect. Much more soothing than what grey, rainy days produce. :)

  2. What a sweetheart--glad he's doing well! I'm not ready for the weather change either. I was hoping we'd get more mild fall days! I suppose we still might if this cold front passes.
