For Sale - I crocheted it myself. I would like 35.00 for it. It really lays flat but has been rolled up.
Sage wondering what she is doing out there. I put her out with Pepper, Wrangler and the 2 donks. She didn't like it too much and did not go out into the pasture for quite a while. She wanted to go back to her pen.
She wanted me to stay with her. I did for a while. She was not as brave as I thought she would be.
Yuma said what are you doing out here? Do you have any treats for me?
Ezra wanted treats too.
Usually we get one egg from there. I was surprised there were 4.
My tomato jungle. Getting ripe.
Raspberries that I picked later in the day. Some are too high for me. Bob will have to pick them in the morning and then I will make another batch of jam.
I am glad to be feeling better. Still am coughing some but every day is better.
Monday I went out to my friend Vikki's in Deer Park and she got me started on a quilt. She makes all of her by hand. No sewing machine on any of hers. I have 4 squares done. I need to go out tomorrow and get some help with a couple of things. The hardest part is threading that tiny needle and I can't figure out the needle threader that will work on the tiny needle. Probably easy but not working for me.
We are preparing to go on a packing trip next week. Bob is doing most of the getting stuff together because he has done it before. We are not leaving until Thursday. This is going to be an adventure.
Its good to be blogging again. Hate feeling crummy. This virus seems to be going around though.
Blessings
Glad you're home Lea, but sorry you're under the weather. Hope you get to feeling better now that you're home and things can get back to normal. Hope your sis is doing ok, but life will be different for her from now on. So hard losing our loves ones. I love your rug, and will take it if you can wait until my payday on the 31st. The colors are just beautiful, and would look so pretty in my kitchen. We're getting close to being finished with our kitchen countertop project...I'm loving the stone, so much prettier than my old, old formica. Will get some pics when it's all done. Next on my list is new flooring, but we have to rebuild the floor under the washer/dryer and do some levelling before we can even think about something new. I have 4 different linoleums between the laundry room, mudroom, kitchen and nook (woodstove room off kitchen). Sure will be nice to have matching floors all around. I'm thinking walnut-looking laminate, but it might be kind of slick. I'd do real wood if we could afford it, but that's very unlikely. I like tile too, but it seems labor intensive and maybe too cold and hard. I have no experience picking stuff, so just have to go with what we can afford. Anything will be an improvement, and that's what I keep telling myself. Anyway, welcome home and have fun on that packing trip!!
ReplyDeleteLori, Of course I can wait until whenever you have it. We will be gone until 9-2 on a pack trip in Montana. 8 days may be a little much for me but I am game to try. You will like your laminate floors. Just get the best you can afford. We have the cheapest in our kitchen and it is wearing out. I like the wider and darker than I got. Our entire house is now laminate flooring. Then I have a 8 x 8' rug in the living room. Have you rode Eagle yet? I am going to ride Sage in the morning but will have our great GD for a couple of days starting tomorrow afternoon. I am having fun with the quilt squares too. Wish I had learned earlier in my life. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling better. Also glad you're going to get to go on the pack trip. That sounds like so much fun.
