Bob's News

Well, its hard not to be really ticked off. They should have done the MRI a long time ago. It was not good news at all. All his L vertebrae are damaged. Some are bulged, some are degenerating, pinched nerves and raw nerves. They will put a steroid shot in his back on the 24th. He is going to try to open his L & I when the bull ran over him and broke his leg. It all started then. No wonder he has been in pain. That is what has been causing most of the pain in his leg. We don't know what the future will bring.

Just did laundry and cleaned house today. I would rather have stayed in bed and read. It snowed off and on today but most of the new snow melted. More is predicted for tonight. This is the last day of a miserable month.

Blessings

  2. I'm sorry, Lea. I hope there is something they can do to help him. That must be causing an awful lot of pain.

  3. Oh Lea, I'm so sorry to hear about Bob. Holy crap, I'd be mad as hell...there's really no excuse when doctors don't do their jobs thoroughly. Bottom line, they're NOT doing their jobs by doing good diagnostics in the first place. Could have saved Bob a lot of suffering needlessly (maybe), but surely a lot of time and effort, and probably money in the long run. Sometimes, I think it's because they don't really believe people when they describe the amount of pain/discomfort they're experiencing. I guess you have to use words like...excrutiating, debilitating and unable to live with it, when you're describing to them what it's like. Hopefully, now they'll finally be able to do something about it...instead of billing your insurance company for all those wasted visits! Sorry, I hope Bob gets the help he needs to get. Good riddance February!!! Will keep you two in my prayers and hope March (and spring) is filled with more blessings and less misery!

  5. Wow. Back trouble like that isn't a good diagnosis! At least they have some ideas on how to treat it. Hopefully they can get the pain under control. You'll both be in my thoughts.
