Now the eye is black

Katie came out today and gave all the kittens baths. They looked kind of like drowned rats but they were all happy when it was over and they were clean and sweet smelling again. Hope we can find homes for them - they are all up for give away. They are litter box trained and eat good.
I just got out of the shower and washed my hair to get the last of the blood out. I looked in the mirror at my forehead and eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek. My right eye is black. Isn't that going to be a sight at the mustang adoption this weekend.
Andrea, if you think her hind feet are awful, I should have gotten her front ones in the picture. They are gross and if we can't get her to the point of picking up her feet soon, we will drug her. They are beyond gross actually. I sure wish you could come this weekend too but family is most important. Be thankful you have living grandparents.

  2. LOL.. Take the kitties to the adoption. Promotion: adopt a horse, get a kitty. Now I am almost glad, mixed with sad, that I couldn't go to the adoption. I would have come back with a kitty or two. I hope your head feels better.

  3. That is one pissed-off puddy!! Get an eye-patch and tell everyone you are trying out for Pirates 3 or 4 or whatever is in the works next!!!!! I am sure, Candy Lee, that if you want kittens, Lea can make arrangements!! (God, am I good today or what???)

  4. Lea--do you want them to be house kittens or barn kittens, because we need a few girl kitties. We keep them in a cat house at night, but let them out in the barn in the day. The coyotes got our two this week--we'll be killing some coyotes before the new kittens are released. We always keep them locked up until they know the barn real well--usually two weeks. Let me know! We won't release until we've taken care of our coyote problem.

  5. Woul someone remind me just what good coyotes are? I seemed to have missed that nature lesson, ya know, along with the need for ticks, mosquitoes, flies.....
