On the fifth day of Christmas I have FIVE little cowboy boots. Four bits a hanging, three candles burning, two Teddy bears and One dog sleeping.
The sun is shining and it is 20 degrees out. I can love it when the sun shines. Snow is predicted for tonight but who knows.
I am doing this early because Bob and I are going to our Back Country Horsemen Christmas party this evening. We will get home late I am sure. Its always fun even is some drink a little in excess. We don't - drink so we always feel great on Sunday morning.
Those little boots are so cute! I'm loving your twelve days of Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLea, the applesauce cinnamon ornaments are made by mixing one cup of applesacue with one cup of cinnamon, plus two tablespoons of white glue. Be sure to mix enough cinnamon to make a nice rollable dough.
Sprinkle wax paper covered counter with cinnamon and then roll dough out 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Cut a hole in the ornament for hanging and allow to air dry on counter (covered in wax paper or use baking pans) ~turning the ornaments a couple of times a day for about two days, until completely dry. Then you can finish with paint and a mixture of 1/2 glue, 1/2 water. They're really simple and smell soooo good!
