It was cold today. I did not wear as warm a coat or gloves that I should have and was shivering by the time we left. Usually my heavy hoodie with a fleece vest is enough. Not today. I was glad our car heats up quickly. When we got home just ahead of dark Katie was here and had done the feeding for us. Thank you Katie.
Barbara from The Serenity Room was tagged and passed it on to get to know us better.

If touching is the big issue and his "space"--has she tried the Kitty Lauman methods? I know I sound like a broken record, but it worked. Plain and simple. That 24'x24' enclosure is ESSENTIAL!! Because the bamboo pole just reaches to touch them. A couple weeks of that--and watching the tapes beforehand--I would think he'd allow her to get closer and closer. Has she already done that? How did you get the rope around him?? Did she adopt him at Ride the West, Lea? I don't remember him at all.
ReplyDeleteBless you and Bob Lea, for taking the time to help Jenn and Riley. This should give her some new resolve with him. Hope you don't catch a cold from being under dressed!
ReplyDeleteShe needs a smaller pen. We told her that right off. He has been intimidating her. She roped him. That is how she "catches" him. He really is an obedient horse until you try to touch him. We will go again on Tuesday. No she got him from an internet adoption.
