You are right, he is a very expensive horse now, but sounds like he is worth every penny of it!

Lea, your awards are amazing. You have every right to brag and should be so proud of all those accomplishments! You've worked hard in your field and are very deserving of the recognition. Great work! Also, thanks for sharing them with us... I was impressed!

FarmerThe Agrarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00644297365965826574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1849393342737666986.post-65227724571993505032010-12-17T08:59:35.044-08:002010-12-17T08:59:35.044-08:00Lea I'm so glad Pepper is ok - I know your hea...Lea I'm so glad Pepper is ok - I know your heart would have been broken otherwise, especially at this time of year. I loved seeing your awards - congratulations for each one. Age is relative to what we're determined to do I think. :) blessings, marleneStitchinByTheLakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501479854150315011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1849393342737666986.post-21265651683672394322010-12-16T22:22:50.905-08:002010-12-16T22:22:50.905-08:00I'm glad Pepper is ok.I'm glad Pepper is ok.Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05031288409969237501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1849393342737666986.post-86843150942009840462010-12-16T21:14:54.978-08:002010-12-16T21:14:54.978-08:00I'd say that's pretty good, Lea--all those...I'd say that's pretty good, Lea--all those awards starting at 50!

That's a heck of a bill at Christmas, but it sounds like he's worth every penny. I'm sorry you had to go through it. Our old horse coliced last spring, Red, and it was about a 500 bill for farm call and tubing, and he came right out of it. We were lucky. That salt is so important. I have salts blocks everywhere and we keep our water real warm in winter. Red, though, had an abscessed hoof that I didn't know about, and he probably went off his water because of that.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14303523299217618526noreply@blogger.com
